The first Chef’s Plate dinner took place on Saturday, June 20^th in the Primrose Gardens dining room. It was open to all residents, families and staff who wish to enjoy a restaurant style meal without the pressure of tipping, taxes or managing challenges of mobility and transportation.

One resident’s  daughter who attended said:

“What a great experience on Saturday evening. My mom was over the moon with joy. I especially loved the caption “savour the moments” on the table. Very true. Thank you and your entire team for the extra efforts.”

The meal was enjoyed by 51 people, many residents invited their loved ones to enjoy the evening together. Two families were delighted to bring their loved one from long-term care to enjoy this special dinner. There were two dinner choices along with soft drinks and both local red and white wine. Desert was an exceptionally beautiful crème brule.

The next Chef’s Plate dinner is happening Saturday, July 25^th. Tickets are on sale now.

How to Get Tickets to the Next Chef’s Plate Dinner

Tickets can be ordered by phone or speaking in-person with the Life Enrichment Associates. Residents of Menno Place receive 20% off the $38/meal price.
