Re: Report your influenza vaccine choice by Nov 30, 2026
As we enter the Influenza season, we are reminded that health care workers are at risk of exposure to infectious diseases while at work. However, many diseases can be prevented with immunization, including influenza. Prevention of influenza among our staff decreases sick-time, short shifts and extended work hours when we are short-staffed.
There are two flu shot clinics happening on campus. If you come to one of the flu clinics please bring your care card and wear short sleeves. The flu shot is also currently available at local pharmacies and drugstores.
The on-campus clinics will take places:
- Friday, October 30 1- 4PM in the Menno Home Multipurpose Room
- Monday, November 9 1-4PM in the Learning Center
Each year, we ask you to report your decision regarding flu immunization through our online self-reporting system in order to comply with the Provincial Influenza Prevention Policy. Once again, we are operating under the Influenza Control Program Policy. We have not currently received any direction regarding masks during flu season. We will update you if/when any information become available.
If you have any questions please speak to your manager.
