Re: Employee Referral  Program

Menno Place is pleased to announce the establishment of a referral incentive program designed to encourage employees to recommend applicants for vacancies within our organization.

In previous years, we ran a pilot program to encourage current employees to refer individuals to apply for LPN and RN roles. These were considered hard to fill roles at the time. The success of that pilot project led to the establishment of the new Employee Referral Program.

If an employee refers an applicant for a full-time or part-time position and that applicant is subsequently hired, the referring employee will receive an award of $500 after the new employee satisfactorily completes 90 days of continuous employment or the probationary period. There is only one referral per candidate. The employee will verify the employee who referred them for the role.

All employees may participate in the program, except members of the Executive Team, Management Team and People and Culture Team employees. All Menno Place hiring practices apply, including applicant screening, reference, and Vulnerable Sector checks. The final determination of eligibility in each case will be made by People & Culture.
