On August 12, 2021 the Provincial health Officer (PHO) announced the requirement for anyone working at a long-term care, seniors’ assisted living to be vaccinated by October 12, 2021 as a condition of employment. Menno Place and all employees of Menno Place are required to follow the PHO’s Orders.

We thank all of our employees who have been vaccinated already. Your actions have helped to ensure the safety of your colleagues and the residents of Menno Place.

If you have not received your first vaccination dose, please do so immediately. In order to be vaccinated by October 12, you must receive your first dose on or before September 13.

After you have received your first dose, you must receive your 2nd dose on or before October 11.

If you have not received your second dose by the October 12 deadline, you may not be permitted to work which will result in a loss of pay and may result in other employment consequences up to and including termination of employment.

Do not wait – get your vaccine as soon as possible.
