Thank A Nurse – It’s National Nursing Week!
As we celebrate Nurses Week, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank all our nurses for the compassion, professionalism, and dedication you bring to your work every day. Your clinical expertise, advocacy for residents, and commitment to person-centred care make an extraordinary difference to those we serve and to one another as colleagues.
Nursing is more than a profession—it is a calling that requires skill, resilience, empathy, and teamwork. We see and deeply appreciate the countless ways you support residents, families, and each other, often going above and beyond.
I also want to recognize the contributions of our exemplary nursing leaders—including our Nurse Managers, Director of Care, Educator, AL coordinator, Clinical Systems Lead, and CEO—who continue to bring their nursing knowledge and perspective into leadership. Through mentorship, clinical guidance, system improvement, and strategic decision-making, they help create the environment that enables excellent care to thrive.
Thank you for your unwavering commitment to quality care and for the vital role you all play in our Menno Place community. We are grateful for all that you do—this week and every week.
