Two weeks ago, Karen Baillie, our CEO, had a health issue (appendicitis) that required immediate care. She has been recovering at home.
Karen wishes to thank the Menno Place Team and the residents for their compassion, prayers, flowers and lovely notes of caring.
Karen will return to her office on Monday, July 10th with gratitude for her health, her recovery and the people who surround her with prayers and caring.
“The prayer shawl that was given to me through our prayer team at the Apartments is especially meaningful. I have it on my chair where I’ve spent most of the past two weeks recovering. It’s beautiful – white with red stripes. It’s the Canada Day shawl. I just love it and the support that it represents.”
