Long-term Care and Assisted Living staff and medical staff, starting the week of January 18, 2021
What’s Happening?
- In B.C., the second dose of vaccine for COVID-19 is being scheduled for around 35 days following the first dose.
- Fraser Health is starting to schedule the second dose of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for staff and medical staff in long-term care and assisted living homes who had received their first dose in mid-December.
- Fraser Health will contact eligible staff and medical staff at long-term care and assisted living homes through text and/or voice message with instructions of how to book their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
- Fraser Health will be providing second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to long-term care residents and assisted living tenants at their homes, 35 days after they have received their first vaccine dose.
Thank you to Pearl Nucich who booked the first dose vaccinations for the Menno Place staff! She is not booking you for the 2nd dose.

You will receive a text and/or voice message from Fraser Health with instructions on how to book their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine;
Please do not share these details with others so we can ensure we have a dose available for them;
If you haven’t been contacted after 35 days of receiving their first COVID-19 vaccine dose, please contact SchedulesCovidVaccine@fraserhealth.ca;
