On September 7th over a thousand people came to Menno Place to celebrate Grandparents Day! It was a delightful time for kids of all ages to enjoy a fun-filled and whimsical afternoon with grandpa, grandma, or a special friend!
One of the residents in Long-Term care commented how nice it was just to be around people again.
The courtyard turned into a playland with bouncy castles, live entertainment, games, crafts, delicious food and more. One guest commented that there were so many kids on site it could be confused for an elementary school event.
As you can see in the video below, we had a great time.
