Menno Home E1 Chaplain Transition
In order to better balance the workload for the chaplains in long-term care, Andy Capesinio has been assigned as the lead Chaplain for Menno Home E1. Andy continues his role as lead Chaplain for Menno Hospital. We are thankful for the calibre of all three chaplains we have at Menno Place. They are dedicated and compassionate in their ministry among us – for this, we are deeply grateful.
We welcome Andy Capesinio in the lead role of Chaplain for E1 Menno Home, effective June 3, 2024. Andy is currently the lead chaplain in Menno Hospital and is a well-loved, joyful member of the chaplain team. Before joining the Menno Place Chaplain Team in 2023, Andy was the Spiritual Care Advisor for Siloam Mission in Winnipeg, MB. Andy has a Masters of Divinity Degree from Asian Theological Seminary and extensive training in caring for those who are vulnerable. He has a welcoming and fun-loving personality with a deep, compassionate heart and vibrant smile.
Ann Thakkar continues to serve as lead chaplain for the other units in Menno Home (W1, W2, E2). We appreciate her skill, love and spiritual care for our residents, families and staff.
Sincerely,
Sharon Simpson
