TODAY! Join Menno Movers for Run / Walk For Water!

If your plans for 2026 include getting outside and walking or running more, the Menno Place Run/Walk for Water team could be just what you’re looking for.

The Run for Water is 10km course run or a 5km run / walk that begins at Mill Lake in Abbotsford. The purpose of the run is transform communities in Uganda, and Congo, where clean water is hard to come by. By providing clean water to these communities, risk of injury is eliminated for those who have to climb dangerous areas to obtain water that is safe to drink. This run is one way we can be strong as a team and help a community.

This event will take place on Sunday, May 24, 2026.

Please fill out the interest form by the end of the day on May 11th.

Keep in mind:

• The location is right here in Abbotsford, starting at Mill Lake.
• Team members will be contacted by email once the roster is confirmed with a password to register with the Menno Place Movers team
• Cost to enter the race is:
  •  $66.71/ person for the 10K Run
  •  $55.94/person for the 5K Run.
