The Hand Hygiene Day Prize Winner Is . . .

May 5 was World Hand Hygiene day, a day set aside to recognize that hand hygiene is the easiest and most effective way to stop germs from spreading and keep everyone healthy and protected. Simply put: handwashing saves lives.

Menno Place marked the occasion with an event attended by over 60 staff from teams all across the campus. Staff participated in quizzes, activities and demonstrations to test their handwashing skills and knowledge. All participants got to spin the wheel to win a prize and were entered into a draw for a Tim Hortons gift card.

The winner of the gift card is: Shelly Mossey from the Menno Hospital Recreation Therapy team. Congratulations Sherry!
