Between September 14 – 17, 2020 Menno Place went through a rigorous safety audit conducted by the BC Municipal Safety Association that focused on staff safety at work.
The audit reviews safety policies and procedures, ensures inspections are completed, inspects the buildings and grounds to ensure staff and management are working safely, reviews the involvement of the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committees and interviews 40 team members on their knowledge of safety.
We are delighted to have received a score of 96% as a final outcome! This is incredible considering the added pressures we have been facing during COVID-19.
Thank you to all our team members, supervisors, and the leadership at Menno Place for your ongoing focus on safety at Menno Place!
