ATTENTION: STAFF CURRENTLY ON DUTY: Power Outage and Shift Change

MEMORANDUM

To: All Staff Currently On Duty

A power outage is affecting portions of the Fraser Valley. This outage may impact the ability of some employees to travel to work or communicate with Staffing regarding their shifts.

As a result, there may be delays in relief staff arriving to replace team members at the end of their scheduled shifts.

To ensure the safety and continuity of care for our residents and tenants, staff must not leave their work area or shift assignment without an appropriate replacement in place.

If you are approaching the end of your shift and are unsure whether a replacement has arrived or is required, please speak directly with your supervisor for permission to leave. Supervisors will work with Staffing and leadership to assess the situation and provide direction.

We understand that this situation may create inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience, flexibility, and commitment to resident care during this unexpected disruption.

Further updates will be communicated as more information becomes available regarding restoration of power and staffing impacts.
