Pads for Pets – 95 items donated for pets!

Thank you to Linda Redel, Houskeeper at the Hospital who brought forward the idea of collecting used blankets for pets in need. Linda contacted Chloe MacBeth, the Chilliwack Branch Manager of the BC SPCA and arranged a drive at Menno Place to collect even more bed pads for pets. Linda has been gathering and sending bed pads to the SPCA personally and wanted to expand this to all who live and work at Menno Place.

What a success! The Pads for Pets drive took place in November and 95 items were collected! These were delivered to another passionate SPCA supporter.

Thank you to Linda and to all who donated. If you still wish to bring in a donation, the donation bin is at Stores (under the Hospital Chapel). Linda will continue to deliver the bed pads to the Chilliwack SPCA.
