Today, we get to know her a bit better with a Q+A!
Q: What is your favourite thing about working at Menno Place?
A: I love the staff – they are our very biggest asset. They arrive to work every shift wanting to care for our residents many whom in time, become their extended families. They are loving, kind, and compassionate. Working in residential can be very difficult, both physically and emotionally challenging. I believe our staff are stars.

A: RN, Gerontology certificate and 37 years experience of acute/residential care.
Q: What was your first job?

Q: What do you do to relax?
A: Hiking & trail walking.
Q: What is your favourite place that you’ve been to?
A: Ucluelet. I love the Wild Pacific Trail.
Q: Who makes you laugh the hardest? Why?
A: My grand-daughter, because she is hilarious and makes me do silly things. She has a strong belly laugh which is contagious.
