COVID OUTBREAK UPDATE – December 16 – 2020 – Menno Home E2
NEW COVID POSITIVE CASES = 0
TOTAL COVID POSITIVE CASES = 58 (35 residents in Menno Home E2 & 23 staff Home E2)
TOTAL RECOVERED = 4 residents / 8 staff returning to work
PASSED AWAY = Total = 8 residents
RECOVERED RESIDENTS = 21 residents
ACTIVE RESIDENT CASES = 6 residents
ACTION:
- We continue to thank God for the recovered staff and residents
- We know that it is impossible for us to understand the stress that the staff are under in this environment – we pray for them as they continue to work diligently for these residents
- We have a suggestion from a Housekeeper on E2 Home – she is wondering if family would let Menno Place know if there is something that she could do for a resident as she cleans their room. She gave the example that she knows that a wife sings a German children’s song to her husband when she visits. Since she also knows German, she sang this song to the resident while cleaning his room.
