Sujata Connors, CEO, shares an update on our HR Director Search
Hello team,
We have recently had a number of transitions in our Executive Team and we want to keep you informed about how we are moving forward with rebuilding our Executive Team.
Jeanette Lee retired from her Human Resources (HR) Director role in February 2023. In order to continue the important work of HR, Kathrin McMath (Chief Operating Officer) and Ron Willms (Director, Finance) have been covering the role in addition to their own portfolios – for which we are extremely grateful.
Our recruitment for an HR Director continues. We’ve engaged a recruitment firm to support our search. They have a wide network that they tap into for candidates. We are hopeful that their support will help us to fill this crucial position. We are competing with many comparable vacancies not only across the lower mainland of BC but nationally. At this time, there are many options for HR Directors if they are looking for a new place to serve with their skills. Most importantly, we want to ensure that we have the right fit to support Menno Place. This also takes time as we get to know candidates.
