March 20th was the first day of Spring and Shawna, a volunteer chaplain here on campus, started our prayer time with a couple of verses from Song of Solomon, chapter 2:
“See! The winter is past;
the rains are over and gone.
Flowers appear on the earth;
the season of singing has come,
the cooing of doves
is heard in our land.
The fig tree forms its early fruit;
the blossoming vines spread their fragrance.”
We prayed for Teresa Halovich and the work she does as a unit clerk in Menno Home.
