Are you feeling festive? We’ve got great news! The Menno Place Christmas Door Decorating Contest is back! It’s time to deck the halls with colourful, creative, festive doors. The theme is wide open this year. You can find inspiration in a favourite carol, a holiday tradition, a visual pun – the sky is yours. Just remember to keep it appropriate for a healthcare workplace. The contest is open to Menno Place staff in all buildings across campus and runs from Nov 22 – Dec 5, 2024.
How to Enter:
- Gather your team (or go solo) and decorate a door. Please make sure that the door remains safe (ie can open, close, and lock as usual) and do not block any necessary sightlines.
- Take 2 photos – one of the door and one of the door plus the people who decorated it. (You can submit extra photos if you like.)
- Send your photos to Claire.Colvin [at] MennoPlace.ca along with the name/ theme of your door, the first and last names of the people in the photo, and your location on campus.
All entries must be received by 4pm on Thursday, December 5th. Doors will be judged on creativity and Christmas spirit. Two prizes will be awarded – one for First Place and one for Runner Up. All door decorations must be removed by end of day on Friday, January 3rd.
