Re: Rachel Setka – Human Resources Generalist
Please join me in welcoming Rachel Setka to her new role as Human Resources Generalist in the People and Culture Team. Rachel will transition into her new role on March 18th.
Rachel began working at Menno Place in 2016 as a Dietary Aide, and found joy in serving the residents as well as working in the cafeteria. She kick started her career journey in 2021 where she completed an Accounting and Payroll Diploma, graduating with honours and also obtained her Payroll Compliance Practitioner designation.
She completed her practicum in the Finance department at Menno Place and shortly afterwards worked as a Human Resources Administrator in the Aerospace industry in 2022. She came back to Menno in August 2023 in the role of a Payroll Associate, aiding in administering payroll across campus.
She is delighted to accept her new position as a Human Resources Generalist as she pursues her passion for Human Resources. Rachel is a very hard working, vibrant, and compassionate individual who is also a dedicated mother of two children.
Rachel asked to share this with the staff:
“I am feeling extremely grateful and blessed with this new opportunity to grow in my career with Menno Place. It truly feels like “home” to me here, and I cannot thank everyone enough for their love and support along the way. I am very excited to work with the People and Culture team and contribute to the many successes of our organization.”
We are grateful for Rachel’s contribution as Payroll Associate and we are excited to welcome her to the People and Culture team!
