Introducing Sourajita Panda as our new People & Culture Business Partner

Sourajita joins our People and Culture team as a P&C Business Partner. With years of experience in People and Culture, Sourajita brings to Menno Place a global perspective with a deep passion for connecting people, purpose, and impact. She was drawn to Menno by the organization’s mission and heart-centered approach to care. She is inspired by the opportunity to grow alongside colleagues who care deeply about making a difference. Sourajita brings empathy, insight, and curiosity to her work, thriving in moments when conversations lead to clarity and meaningful change. Her approach to P&C blends compassion and practicality, ensuring people feel seen, supported, and empowered. Energized by collaboration and humor, she believes in fostering trust, kindness, and curiosity as foundations for a thriving workplace culture.

Outside of work, Sourajita finds joy in creative and fun activities such as poetry, nature walks, and the occasional shopping adventure. She’s inspired by strong women leaders who balance grace and courage in the face of challenges, and she aspires to model that same spirit in her work. Over the next six months, she looks forward to learning the “heartbeat” of the organization, mastering new systems, and exploring how data and empathy intersect through HR analytics and AI, since this topic is a passion of hers.

A fun fact about Sourajita is that she loves Christmas because, “It’s magical, hopeful, and full of meaning. It’s that time of the year when homes and hearts light up together. Plus, any occasion that combines family, laughter, and sweets is automatically a favorite.”
