PPE – Wear what is provided or with written permission only

Which PPE can you wear when you are working at Menno Place?

All staff must wear the PPE that is provided by Menno Place. This includes eye protection/goggles and masks.

There are products available such as glasses frame side shields that are not indicated as protocol for providing care in a long-term care home or senior’s assisted or supportive care.

If you have questions about what PPE you should be wearing at work, please ask your supervisor.

If you are requesting to wear PPE other than what you are provided, you must have written permission from your supervisor to use it.
