Day of Mourning – April 28
Across Canada, April 28 is recognized as the Day of Mourning. On this day, we acknowledge those who have died, or suffered serious injury or illness in the workplace.
This past year has been a challenging one for healthcare workers—the physical, mental and emotional toll, both direct and indirect, has been immense.Today, we acknowledge those whose lives have been lost over the past year, and those who are recovering from serious illness and injury. Together, we remember, mourn, and heal.
