COR Audit – Let’s Get Ready Together: Emergencies & Follow Up
Our COR (Certificate of Recognition) Health & Safety Audit will take place from April 27 to May 2.
You will receive short Health & Safety messages to help everyone feel confident and prepared.
These messages:
- Are based on real questions an auditor may ask
- Are not a test
- Reflect what you already do every day
COR Question: Do you know how to contact first aid?
Best Answer:
- Yes. I learned this during orientation.
Q: What should you do in an emergency?
A: Follow procedures and get help right away.
Q: What happens after a report is submitted?
A: My supervisor reviews it and action may be taken.
Q: Why are investigations done?
A: To prevent it from happening again.
Q: What if you do not know an answer during the audit?
A: I would check SURGE or ask my supervisor.
Managers and supervisors also lead by example, and safety expectations apply to everyone.
If you don’t know an answer during the audit, it is always okay to say: “I would check SURGE or ask my supervisor.”
