What is the Palliative Approach and how are we shifting to this approach at Menno Place?
A palliative approach takes principles of palliative care and
1. ADOPTS them EARLY in the course of a person’s life-limiting condition
2. ADAPTS strategies to meet patient and family needs
3. EMBEDS practices into usual care in settings that do not specialize in palliative care
