Accreditation Debrief – How did we do? 99.5%!

For three days, Accreditation surveyors, Scott Hebert and Jenny Robinson have been at Home and Hospital taking a look at everything from Board Governance to the nitty gritty of how we fix the furnaces – they saw it ALL!

How did we do on the Accreditation survey? We were successful in fulfilling 99.5% of the Accreditation criteria! WOW!!!! Well done, team!

This is a preliminary result – the final result will come in two weeks or so. We are excited that we did so well – the Accreditation surveyors were impressed with so many ways that our teams are working together, including using the handheld devices, practicing hand hygiene and using Worxhub to create and complete tickets. They loved our enthusiasm and HEART!

Good morning one and all,

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for contributing to the success of our Accreditation journey.

Every contribution from keeping the rooms clean and tidy, putting away laundry, caring for the residents and attending to their medications went very smoothly.

The surveyors were impressed with how knowledgeable the staff were when they asked questions to discern how we communicated with each other and across departments.

A big bouquet to all of you! I am so very pleased to be part of a truly remarkable organization with such a great group of employees!
