COR is here – May 1st to 5th

This week – May 1 – 5th, we will be participating in an audit of our Occupational Health and Safety Program.

Our hearts go out to David and Patricia Dick in the tragic loss of their son

Our hearts go out to David Dick (Menno Place Chaplain) and his wife, Patricia (Menno Place Care Aide) who tragically lost their 28 year old son, Christopher, in an automobile accident this past Saturday morning (April 22). Many of you have worked at Menno Place alongside David and Pat and feel the shared grief as they suffer this unexpected loss. David, Patricia and their family welcome your prayers for comfort at this time. Details of the funeral service will be shared when they are known.

May God hold David, Patricia and their family under His sheltering wing. And all of you as well.

Menno Place has expressed our shared grief and heartfelt caring through a bouquet sent to David and Patricia.

Work Life Pulse Survey – You could win a $200 Spa Gift Certificate – ALMOST there!!!!! GO! GO! GO!

We are ALMOST there! 185 filled out! GO! GO! GO!

As of April 21st, 185 surveys have been filled out! Let’s keep this going… encourage your co-workers to fill out the WorkLife Pulse survey! If we receive 200 by  April 21st, we’ll have a campus-wide draw for a Wild Orange Spa gift certificate!

As you may know, we are using Accreditation Canada’s Qmentum program to guide our quality improvement efforts. This involves assessing and improving the services we provide based on Accreditation Canada’s standards.

The WorkLife Pulse survey is an important part of this process. It is an online survey that asks for your opinions on different aspects of your work environment. The results help us identify areas that may need to be improved.

The Worklife Pulse survey is now open for your input. It will close on May 1st, 2017. You are strongly encouraged to complete it as soon as possible. Widespread staff participation will make our results much more useful.

Use the link below to go to the login page where you will enter the organization code and password. Instructions are available once you log in.

Your responses are completely anonymous. They are sent directly to Accreditation Canada and Menno Place receives summary, not individual results. So please be as honest as possible.

In addition, if we receive 200 responses by April 14th, there will be a campus-wide draw for a $200 Wild Orange Spa gift certificate. Fill out the survey soon – and encourage your co-workers to do the same!

Thank you for your time and effort,
