Immediate Action – 2x Name Tag and ID Badge Stickers
On July 19, 2021, Dr. Bonnie Henry announced that fully vaccinated staff in care homes would be able to show proof of full vaccination and remove both mask and goggles.
At Menno Place, we required you to provide proof of double vaccination through an online form or to the Human Resources department.
Initially, we offered 2x stickers to wear on your clothing. As these were not very sticky, many staff found they were more durable to be stuck around their ID Badge.
We are now requiring all 2x vaccinated staff to wear a Name Tag that indicates their 2x status. Please replace your badge sticker with a name tag by September 6th.
Have you lost your name tag? Need a replacement? You can have one the NEXT BUSINESS DAY after you fill out THIS REQUEST FOR NEW NAME TAG.
Once you fill out the request for a new name tag, you will be contacted by Jessy in HR. She will provide the Receptionist where you work with your new nametag after lunch the day after your request! Cost of replacement is $10 to be deducted from your next pay cheque.
After September 6th, anyone who does not have a name tag with the 2x sticker visible will need to comply with the same expectations as the unvaccinated staff.
Are you unvaccinated and wish to have a new Name Tag? Click here to make your request.
ID BADGE
Your ID Badge (see below) identifies you as an employee of Menno Place.
It provides you with access to locked areas on the Menno Place campus.
It can be used as Identification to First Responders in the event of an emergency – whether you are unable to identify yourself, or you are seeking to provide support for others in need (behind the Emergency lines)
Name Tag
Your Name Tag (see below) is worn over your clothing in view of others, over your heart.
Your Name Tag promotes the building of relationships among co-workers, families and residents.
Your Name Tag must be worn at all times.
Your Name Tag is the only place to indicate your full vaccination status.
