Health & Safety Week Kicks Off Today!
Welcome to Health & Safety Week 2025!
We’re celebrating the incredible work of our team in building a culture of safety, care, and wellness.
We’re also launching our brand-new Health & Safety Dashboard! You can find out more about that below.
This week we’ll spotlight our new tools and Committees. Come learn and share how you can be part of making our workplace safer and stronger. Stay tuned!
Worker Health & Safety Dashboard
If you see or experience a workplace incident or hazard use the dashboard to log it. This does NOT replace submitting a maintenance or housekeeping task as needed, nor does it replace a WorkSafe Form 6a which is still necessary if you experience a work-related injury or illness.
What does the dashboard do?
This innovative dashboard provides all workers with a live update on important health and safety related issues. The dashboard displays a heatmap of where work-related injuries have occurred most frequently on the premises.
See it for yourself: Menno Place Worker Health & Safety Dashboard
You can close the report window to see the full dashboard.
COR Interviews Start Today
We’re all responsible for safety at work! On May 5 – 9, 2025 Menno Place will be having our annual COR Health & Safety Audit. You may be asked to meet with the auditor. Let’s all be ready!
If you’re being interviewed you can review the questions you’re likely to be asked (and the answers that go with them) here: COR Questions and Answers. The auditors are also allowed to ask these questions of any staff member they encounter while on campus so it’s a good idea for everyone to take a few minutes to review these topics.
Take the COR knowledge quiz below to be entered into a draw to win a $50 gift certificate to Shoes for Crews!
If you would like to volunteer to be interviewed fill out the form here: COR Volunteer Form
