September 16th is Support Staff Appreciation Day!
Support staff have a direct, personal impact on the daily lives of our residents and our staff team.
If care staff are the hands of Menno Place, support staff are the spine. These teams make sure each resident has a full stomach, a clean home, and fresh clothes to wear. They pay the bills (and the staff), keep the lifts working and tend the gardens. They find the right person to join each team and find the words to tell our stories. These teams take care of the staffing schedules and manage hundreds of deliveries. They find answers for residents and resolve scheduling conflicts for staff. They pray with all members of our community on some of our hardest days.

The chaplains, housekeeping, finance, dietary, laundry, maintenance, communications, stores, life enrichment, staffing, visitation hosts, and people and culture teams.
