Welcome, Feldi Navarro, Manager of Care at Menno Home and Hospital
Welcome to Feldi Navarro, Manager of Care!
It is exciting to welcome Feldi to the Menno Place Team! As the Manager of Care, she is responsible for collaborating with Kim and Smitha (Directors of Care) to ensure that long-term care, gerontological nursing, medication management, infection control, and human resources standards related to care services are maintained.
Feldi will provide operational leadership in the resident care programs at both Home and Hospital, applying quality improvement processes to ensure safe, resident and family-centered, efficient and appropriate care is delivered under the direction of the DOC’s.
You might recognize Feldi if you worked in Menno Hospital – she started there as a floor nurse in 2015. In 2016, she exercised the dual role of LPN/Human Resources Coordinator for SimpeQ Care until she attained this new role of Manager of Care.
In Feldi’s words, “I am excited and glad to continue working and being a part of Menno Place surrounded by wonderful residents, family and amazing staff.”
When she is not chasing her 3 kids, she loves to sing, go to church, go shopping and have food gatherings with family and friends. Feldi speaks fluent Tagalog. She played the coronet in a local brass band for 6 years in Scotland and competed around the country! Wow, Feldi!
We are excited to have you work in this new role in both Menno Home and Hospital – Welcome to the Menno Place Team!
