Will you get a sticker today? No mask, no goggles for those who are fully vaccinated!

Good morning! Today is the first day that staff at Menno Place who are fully vaccinated can go WITHOUT MASK OR GOGGLES! Woohoo!

You will need to wear a sticker that tells the residents, your co-workers and visitors that you are FULLY vaccinated (double-dose + 14 days). If you are not wearing your sticker, you must put your mask and goggles on. Stickers handed out on Monday, July 19th are for staff who filled out the form that is found HERE.

How do you get a sticker?

  1. Get your two doses of COVID-19 vaccine (Register here if you haven’t received your vaccine)
  2. Ensure you are FULLY vaccinated – 2 doses + 14 days
  3. Fill out the Self-Reporting form – CLICK HERE – You’ll need an image of your vaccination card (.jpg, .jpeg or .png) to upload as well as your PHN Number (CLICK HERE FOR INFO) If you emailed your information to HR, it will not be put in priority order for processing. Please fill out the form to be prioritized – Data Collection – PHN Number, Emergency Contact, Vaccination Status. Contact Jessy.Manhas@MennoPlace.ca if you need assistance filling out the form.
  4. HR will validate your entry and provide your name to your supervisor. This will take time as HR validates each entry. Updates will be made daily to the list of staff who have been verified.
  5. You will receive a sticker from your supervisor
  6. MASK AND GOGGLES COME OFF!
  7. Try to use your sticker for a few days – we are coming up with a more permanent solution to indicate if you are fully vaccinated. You may not go without mask/goggles if the sticker is not displayed.

When do you need to put mask and goggles on again?

  • if clinically indicated for individuals on precautions;
  • when there is a risk of contamination due to splashing of body fluids;
  • required based on their point-of-care assessment or to protect against the normal hazards in their regular work
  • if on enhanced monitoring or outbreak
  • if the Public Health Officer / Fraser Health updates the order

When you follow all the guidelines with mask wearing, you ensure that team members, residents and visitors feel SAFE! Thank you for complying with only wearing a sticker if you are fully vaccinated. If you don’t have a sticker and you ARE fully vaccinated, connect with your supervisor to find out if you are on the list. Sharing stickers or falsifying information is subject to discipline.
