Staff Are Invited to Sitewide Memorial

Each June the Menno Place family gathers to honour the residents who have passed in the previous year. It’s a special time for families, friends, and staff to come together with a memorial service. Staff are invited to join or drop in to this event. (Please coordinate with your manager to ensure staff proper staffing coverage during the event.)

This year’s memorial will take place:

Friday, June 13, 2025
at 1:00pm
in the Menno Hospital chapel.

The service will start at 1:00 and runs for one hour. It includes music, readings, prayer and a presentation that honours each resident who passed in the last year, organized by the community where they lived. The service will be livestreamed and also available to view online after the event has ended. The butterfly release follows directly after the service in the Menno Home Courtyard.
