Celebrating Care Aide Appreciation Week: Hearts & Hands Conference

In recognition of Care Aide Appreciation Week, Menno Place proudly supported 10 Health Care Aides in attending the Hearts & Hands Conference, an inspiring event dedicated to professional growth and excellence in care.

Our own Shelley Jantzen was interviewed on stage by Ken Donahue, organizer of Hearts & Hands, and she did a fantastic job! Congratulations Shelley! Thank you for representing us so well.

Our Care Aides returned energized and motivated, having gained valuable knowledge, fresh perspectives, and meaningful connections with peers in the healthcare community. The conference provided an excellent opportunity to enhance skills, share best practices, and reinforce the important role Care Aides play in the lives of those they serve.

Tonya N., HCA Lead, attended the event and noted that the day after the conference staff that came to work saying that they felt a renewed energy and passion for the work they do. They all expressed how they felt connected, appreciated and valued for the work they do including the ‘little’ things that sometimes go unnoticed.

For me, it was such a joy to see my co-workers who go above and beyond every day, giving of themselves, be celebrated and inspired! Tonya N.

Thank you to all our  Care Aides for the exceptional care and commitment you bring to the lives of our residents daily.
