Subject: Implementation of HEU Collective Agreement – Menno Apartments

This memo is to inform you that the final provisions of the HEU Community Bargaining Association (CBA) Agreement will take effect on August 24, 2025, including all monetary-related provisions.

Important Information:

  • Benefits Transition: Empire Life and Wawanesa benefit plans will end on August 31, 2025.
  • The People and Culture team is currently coordinating the transition to Pacific Blue Cross, as outlined in the Collective Agreement. Coverage will begin September 01, 2025.
  • Employee Disability Management Program (EDMP):
    • Mandatory participation for all regular Full-Time and Part-Time employees
    • Optional participation for Casual employees
    • Further information is available under Memorandum of Agreement #1 of the Communities Bargaining Association Collective Agreement
  •  Wage Adjustments: Any wage changes will be reflected on your September 12, 2025 pay.
