Welcome to Nik Van Egdom, new Manager, Housekeeping and Laundry

We are pleased to announce that Nik Van Egdom has accepted the position of Manager of Housekeeping & Laundry for Menno Place. Yes, its true! Nik is coming back to the Menno team on Jan 17th. Nik began his journey at Menno Place in 2016 as a cook, moving his way up to Reception and eventually Life Enrichment Coordinator for Menno Apartments. During this time, Nik was a collaborative leader who learned resident experience in a wide variety of departments. Nik left Menno Place to become an Operator/Owner of Cobb’s Bread in Mission, BC. This took a vigorous process of “Cobbs University” leadership training to be accepted as a Franchisee.

Throughout this time, Nik’s heart remained with the care and service that he loved here at Menno Place. Before coming to Menno Place, Nik’s training was with both Cobb’s and Panago where he was a successful manager and was hired to re-invigorate store locations to success and viability. He is a systems-thinker, problem-solver and expert in customer-service.

We look forward to Nik’s return as he brings his heart and skills to our Housekeeping and Laundry teams. We recognize the critical role that these teams play in both infection control and resident care here at Menno Place. Nik is a hard worker, loves life, has a vibrant spirit and a wonderful presence.

It is with great appreciation and excitement that we welcome Nik into his new role where he will lead the Housekeeping and Laundry Team!

Please congratulate Nik as he returns to the Menno Place Team!
