Training for New Quality and Risk Management (QRM) System
We’re excited to announce that Menno Place is transitioning to a new Quality and Risk Management (QRM) System within Surge Learning!
📅 Training Opportunities
To make sure everyone is comfortable using the new system, we’re offering a variety of training options starting with in-person training.
In-person training runs from June 23rd to July 4th
All staff
Hospital Chapel : June 23rd 10: 30AM & 3:30 PM
Learning Center : June 26th 10:30 AM & 3:30 PMSessions on Units
June 25th, June 27th, July 3rd & 4th (details will be sent soon)
In addition there will be:
- An online Surge Learning course
- A Quick-Reference Sheet for team huddles
- A “How To” video (coming soon)
Why are we moving to a new system?
This new online system will replace our current paper-based incident and hazard reporting, making the process:
✅ Fully paperless
✅ Easier to use
✅ More efficient to track and manage
🖥️ What’s Changing?
🔹 Paper incident and hazard forms will be replaced by an online system in Surge Learning
🔹 Reports can be submitted, tracked, and followed up on digitally
🔹 All staff will be trained before the official launch

This is just the first phase of the rollout. The official go-live date and final instructions will be shared in July.
