Retirement Announcement – Gaby Delorme

Re: RETIREMENT – Gaby Delorme, W1 Menno Home Nursing Supervisor
Gaby Delorme, W1 Nursing Supervisor in Menno Home, has retired as of June 28, 2024.
We wish to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to an amazing nurse who has dedicated her nursing career to Menno Place and is now retiring after 26.5 years of working here.
Gaby began her career as a Health Care Assistant working from September 1997 to 2011. She obtained her License in Practical Nursing during this period, and worked as an LPN from 2011 to 2021 in Menno Home. Gaby then became the Nursing Supervisor for W1 and served in that position until her retirement in 2024.
Gaby excelled in her career and states she was “blessed to have been employed in a job I truly loved!” It was certainly easy to see, as she loved working with the residents and staff on W1 and put all her best efforts into her “family” of residents and staff here.
Gaby, we thank you for your long years of service and dedication to Menno Place! We wish you many new happy adventures as you enter this stage of your life! Job well done. We will all miss you!
Apartments Care Staff & Wellness Centre – Staff Prayer July 2, 2024
This week, Menno Place Chaplain Kerry Dyck shared a short devotional on Psalm 62 and we prayed for the care staff in the Apartments & Wellness Centre and our Nurse Care Supervisor Geetanjali Padayachi.
Menno Home East 1 – Staff Prayer June 25, 2024
This week, Menno Place Chaplain Ann Thakkar read through Scripture and we prayed for the Menno Home East 1 team and our Resident Care Coordinator Annette Unrau.
Commissioning of Nicole, Pooja and Loradonna – Staff Prayer June 18, 2024
This week, Menno Place Chaplain Ann Thakkar led a commissioning prayer session for three new Executive Team members: Nicole Wiebe, Pooja Mishra, and Loradonna Botter.

We are officially off enhanced precautions at Terrace East. Please resume all activities as before.
- Staff do not require to wear mask in common areas.
- No need to do visitor screening/ mask mandate.
- Group activities may resume as before.
