Staff Parking: How to Avoid a Ticket

Parking can be a challenge on campus, but if you follow these guidelines you’ll be able to find a spot and skip a costly ticket. Parking tickets can be upwards of $80 and Impark has the right to tow cars that are improperly parked. You can avoid all the hassle by making sure you’re in the right spot.

Know Your Parking Options – Paid Parking

There are three parking lots on campus with spots available to staff who have purchased monthly parking from Impark. Staff with a pass can park in any spot marked STAFF or FLEX. The three lots are:

  • between Pavilion and Menno Home
  • at the end of Brundige in front of Menno Home entrance A
  • between Menno Home and Primrose Gardens.

Staff are NOT permitted to park in the lot directly in front of Menno Hospital.

Do not park in visitor spots. When guests come to visit and cannot park it has a direct negative impact on our residents.

Know Your Parking Options – Free Parking

Free parking is available at Peace Lutheran church (2029 Ware Street) but it requires a parking pass. The church is located at the corner of Marshall and Ware, an easy two block walk from campus. If you want to take advantage of this parking contact Kristina on the People and Culture team for a pass. This parking is available Monday – Friday (excluding holidays) from 0600 – 1800 on the west side of the parking lot only. Please do not park here on the weekend.

Street parking along Primrose Street (in front of Terrace East) and on Brundige (beside Primrose Gardens) is reserved for residents and their guests. Staff are not permitted to park in these areas or take parking passes that are meant for visitors. The angled parking on the east side of Primrose Gardens is also reserved for guests only.

How to Purchase a Parking Pass

If you need to purchase a parking pass you can do that directly from Impark. You will need a code to be able to make your purchase. For new hires this information is in your hiring package.
