Notice: Pedestrian injured in front of Menno Hospital

You may notice a police presence on the campus this morning in the front of Menno Hospital.

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in an unfortunate accident near the entrance to Menno Hospital.

The pedestrian has been taken by ambulance to hospital and the driver has been provided with support.

The Menno Hospital visitation hosts, dietary staff and care staff attended the scene providing excellent emergency care.

This incident reminds us all to be aware of our surroundings as we drive on campus and taking care to walk only on provided walkways. As a staff member, please model to our residents and each other the proper use of walkways.

Your prayers for all involved are welcomed. There is no further information available at this time.
