Re: Recruitment and Talent Specialist – Kristina Van Der Zwan

——

Welcome Kristian Van Der Zwan!

I am pleased to introduce and welcome Kristina Van Der Zwan, a healthcare professional of 22 years, a dog mom, an outdoor enthusiast, a creative soul, a history buff and a believer in embracing life with a child-like wonder.

Born and raised in Mission, BC, Kristina has lived in Langley for the last 17 years with my 14 year old Shih Tzu X Springer Spaniel dog, named Bailey. When they are not exploring outside and getting their boots/paws dirty, Kristina can be found playing my ukulele, painting, reading, taking in live music/art shows, working on my photography and cooking up a tasty meal.

Kristina is joining the People & Culture, in the role of Talent and Recruitment Specialist. She is very happy to bring a diverse healthcare background as Healthcare Aide, Recreation Therapist, Life Enrichment Manager and Quality Improvement Specialist to this role.

An interesting fact about Kristina is that she did her first Healthcare Aide practicum with Menno Hospital. Mind you, this was a long time ago,  funny how the world turns. This time around, Kristina will be continuing her part time education with the Human Resources Management Certificate while working with Menno. Please do say hello to Kristina if you see her around – a welcome addition to the team!
