It’s Mother’s Day! We wish all of the mothers at Menno a day of celebration. We also recognize that this day is not always an easy one, or one of celebration. We are thinking of all of you today, no matter what the day brings. Blessings.
W1 Home off isolation – Social visits resume.
W2 Home – Most of the residents taken off isolation. Primary contacts notified if their loved one remains on isolation.
New Covid Positive staff member – W2 Home. Social visits suspended, residents on isolation while we await further instructions from Public Health.
Staff to be screened at the beginning of their shift. No mid-shift screening required.
W1 Home will be off of enhanced monitoring on the morning of May 7th if we have no further COVID positives or symptoms. Rapid Testing available to visitors and staff.

No new COVID cases. No need for 2nd swab. Residents remain on droplet precautions. Social visits closed. If there are no symptoms and NO COVID positives, residents will be off droplet precautions May 9th.
No new COVID positive cases. Staff and Residents were swabbed a second time. Awaiting results. If no positives, they are scheduled to come off of isolation on May 8th.
